Throughout this semester, you will construct a grant proposal for your academic unit (COLLEGE LIBRARY). Your proposal should include the following components:

Part 1 (250 points)

Introduction | What are you proposing? (2-3 paragraphs)

Organizational and departmental background | What does the organization need to know about your institution and your unit? What’s the history? (Project contingent)

Statement of need | Why are you proposing this idea? What need does it fulfill, and what numbers do you have to back it up? (1-2 paragraphs)

Project description | What program is your solution? What project is your proposed fix? (1-2 paragraphs)

Timeline | How will you implement it? What’s your timeline for completion? (Submitted in a table)
