Once you have identified a classroom or instructional challenge and possible technology solution, you must develop and implement a lesson plan that incorporates the selected technology effectively. When developing lessons, alignment to content and technology standards help to ensure that the lesson is meaningful and assists in the achievement of curricular goals.
Refer back to the “Selecting Technology to Enhance Learning” template you completed in Topic 4 and select one of the problems from the template as the basis for a lesson to which the technology tool could be applied. Using the “COE Lesson Plan Template,” develop a lesson plan to address the problem and implement the technology you selected in the Topic 4 assignment. Ensure the lesson plan is aligned to content standards and at least two student technology (ISTE-S) standards and applies to the grade level with which you are most interested in working.
Write a 250-500 word reflection, addressing the following.
- Explain how the ISTE-S technology standards meaningfully enhanced the lesson plan.
- Discuss how the ISTE-E standards helped you create the lesson plan and will assist you in delivering the lesson to students.
Submit the lesson plan and reflection documents.
