You are joining a large family-owned hotel as sales and marketing director. Your team is
composed of a conference and events manager (Anna), a sales manager (John)and a
communications manager (Paul) who have all worked for the hotel for several years.

The location of this hotel is great in popular tourist destination mainly busy in the Summer
months but there is a great deal of competition, making the role of the sales team quite
challenging.

The team is deflated and lacks faith in the hotel to perform or follow through on sales
promises, and doubts your leadership as you are much younger and less experienced (as far as
they know) than your predecessor.
