What do you think this symbolized about the presence of the mother? How does it connect to Winnicott’s idea of the “Good Enough” mother? (Beware that the term “good enough” can be misleading. It doesn’t mean “sufficient” or “just ok.” Winnicott means it more as “deserving of,” as in deserving of being called a “good mother.”)
