1) A term you will often encounter in research is “bias.” There are multiple ways bias can become part of a study and varying degrees that bias can be present. Choose one form of bias discussed in the video and explain how you would control for that in your research.

2) This mini-tutorial will help you understand the differences between qualitative and quantitative forms of data. (Refer back to this video in the next module if needed when we discuss qualitative research.) What are some of the key characteristics of quantitative data? Why is this information important in guiding your decision to choose quantitative methodology?
Thanks,
Dr. Kwapy

3) Please read the excerpt from the book of I Peter below.
1 The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed: 2 Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly,[a] not for dishonest gain but eagerly; 3 nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock; 4 and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away (I Peter 5:1-4 New King James Version).
As Christians, we are called to be shepherds. We are also called salt and light. Salt adds flavor, but salt also brings pain when added to a wound. Light brings guidance but it also brings unwanted exposure at times. Both in a sense bring pain, but both also bring a sense of better or improvement. As shepherds, we can give or allow God to use us in both of these areas to bring people closer or further away from Christ. As a shepherd spiritually and physically, how are you doing your job? Are you gently bringing a new flavor and light or are you bringing pain and unwanted exposure? How do you think that you can share or display this concept of your faith with your colleagues, friends, and family?
Remember participation replies to peers or optional instructor posts should be 150 words and one academic supporting source. Bible verse citation does count when responding to faith and learning posts.
