1. Choose any one psychological disorder from chapter 14 to research specifically and apply how stigma affects getting a diagnosis and treatment. Describe an incident you witnessed or experienced where someone said or did something that contributed to the stigmatization of those with a psychological or developmental disorder, or experiencing mental illness of any kind. What suggestions do you have for breaking the stigma?
