This week’s discussion assignment is about topics in Criminal Justice. You must write a minimum of 200-word count for each question and use five scholarly sources. You may use your textbook as a source and another scholarly source for this assignment. Use in-text citations and remember to cite your sources in APA format.

Make sure to follow instructions and answer each part of the question completely, failure to do so will result in a 10-point reduction per question. I will check the word count for each question and deduct an additional 10 points if the explanation/answer does not meet the minimum requirements stated above. Encyclopedias and Dictionaries are not appropriate research sources at this level. No Wikipedia!

General Instructions:

1. Taking into consideration the different cultural and ethnic groups mentioned in this week’s reading, do you think it is important that law enforcement and the judicial system are both racially and culturally diverse.? Explain.

2. What are the predominant cultural groups in your area and how do they influence your community?

3. Make an argument as to why your client who was convicted of assault with no prior record should receive bail.

4. As a judge, what would your reaction be to plea bargaining?
