Organizations are constantly requiring changes or updates in today’s global business environment. Managers help employees navigate these changes. Often, they are called on to create a change process.
For this final assignment, you will create a change process plan for your supervisor. In this scenario, you are a manager of a company that needs a change process plan. Using your own research, your past readings, and/or your eTextbook as guidance, your plan should engage creative and critical thinking as you address the elements listed below.
- Provide a general description of the company, your position, the specific scenario/reason the change process is needed, and the number of employees who will be involved in the change process.
- Include a brief summary of any general concerns, generational concerns, cultural concerns, or political issues that could arise during the change process.
- Explain how attitudes and behavior of employees will be addressed to generate commitment and support for your change process.
- Provide a summary of the steps needed to create and implement your change process plan.
- Identify the steps to assess the success of your plan, follow-up procedures, modification or revision procedures, and how you will measure the success of your change process plan.
- Include a conclusion that provides an overview of your change process plan and elaborates on the role that communication, innovation, and creative thinking play in each step of your plan.
