This assignment aims to demonstrate critical thinking across various perspectives, problem-posing inquiries, and attainable answers to complex problems in education. The final research paper must identify a research question and the final paper should address that question. Students must pay attention to dissenting viewpoints, provide critical analysis, and incorporate a minimum of 3 outside course references in the final paper. Students will be required to utilize the main 3 sociological perspectives to analyze the social interaction of choice (Structural Functionalism, Symbolic Interactionism, and Conflict Perspective)
This final paper, which should be 4-5 APA pages in length should not only include a critical analysis of the selected topic, but also should provide further research on the topic, and offer new interpretations, or creative ways to rethink varying issues involving race, class, gender, and/or education in the United States.
- Identify Social Interaction (to be observed by you for this final research assignment).
