- In your own words, compare and contrast cultural awareness, cultural sensitivity, and cultural competency.
- After reading The Purnell Model for Cultural Competence (Purnell, 2015), refer to Figure 1 on page 11 and select one of the following characteristics: death rituals, high-risk behaviors, spirituality, or communication.
- Examine the cultural relevance in healthcare research for the specific cultural characteristic you chose.
