OVERVIEW
There are many different ways to consider the four states identified by James Marcia. Identity achievement is a long process and is not often realized by the end of adolescence. Individuals who do reach identity achievement feel self-acceptance, stable self-definition, and are committed to their identity. Use the information you have learned from the materials provided in the module (chapter readings, articles, and videos) when giving your answer.
