Overview:

Curriculum evaluation models can be categorized into several types, each with its own focus and methodology. Each model offers different insights and tools for evaluating curriculum effectiveness, catering to various needs and perspectives in education. It’s imperative that organizations understand the various models of curriculum evaluation.

Task:

This assignment has two parts.

• • Part I: Write a one-page (formal) paper in which you compare and contrast the scientific and humanistic approaches to evaluation. Select two of the following models as examples. Scientific approach: Congruence-Contingency Model, Context, Input, Process, Product model, or Action Research. Humanistic approach: Connoisseurship Criticism, Illuminative, or Action Research. Cite the textbook and at least two other references (at least one must be an online source).
  • Part II: In your own words explain how this translates into a practical process that others will understand and use (250 words minimum with no references). Be sure your justification is strong to support Part 1.
