You are a school principal/lead trainer and the district has just developed or purchased a computer software program with a complete lab for math. All students will be receiving help each day for 30 min. in the math lab. You may substitute any curriculum change for the math lab if your background and expertise is different. It will require a school-wide change (effort) to implement, and the district is holding you responsible to successfully implement it in your school. Write a two-page report to justify “capacity building” to facilitate this curriculum implementation.

Within the report include:

• Why a plan is necessary?
• Demonstrate that you understand the change process. An example is John P Kotter’s Stages of Change.
• How to deal with resistance, and other issues to consider.
